He was admitted to the California State Bar in June of 1985 and the United States District Court, Central District, in July of 1985. Between 1985 and 1995, Gerard labored as an affiliate legal professional with three law companies which focused its apply locations in: personalized damage, loved ones law, real home, building defects, business formation and litigation and wills and trusts.
In July of 1995, Gerard founded what is now the Dougherty Law Company, APC. Gerard continues to serve as a judge for the Ventura County Higher College Mock Trial Levels of competition which competes yearly.
He is the latest Vice President of Organization Network Global (Conejo Valley Chapter). Gerard is married to Sherry and has two daughters, Briana and Danielle. His avocations include paying time with his family, ice hockey, boating, and camping.
